I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the 90’s again.. I think it’s because it’s fall in New York. All of the levi’s and oversized sweaters are popping back out, and although this summer was extra short it seemed, I’m always down for spooky season. Slicked back/short dark hair, dark lip liner, leather, crosses, chokers, skinny brows, jeans, and a chunky pair of boots. I live for it. A classic for a reason.

I don’t even know where to start with my love for Ana. One of the most influential artists I’ve come to know. I could look and process her art all day. I really identify with her past, how she was taken away from her country at a young age. She visually created these themes of life, death, a place of belonging, and a deep yearn for connection through the earth in her work. A huge inspiration for me.

Really admiring Elsa’s style, and vision lately. How she reinvented what was once a not so sought after material, and created these beautiful sterling silver sculptural jewelry pieces. Her personal style, the thin eyebrows, short dark slicked back hair big .. to die for.

Dolly Parton’s passing has me in deep emotions. To live in a world where such an influential legend existed is a gift. What an inspiration to so many people. Dolly didn’t have haters only lovers. I’ve been reflecting on her as a person. How dshe came from nothing, and never let that stop her. Admiring her hairstyles throughout the year, her outfits, and nails! What a gem. I hope to carry with me the positive attitude and grace she exuded. I’ve been listening to her every morning as I get ready for the day, and it just puts me in such a great mood, making me feel like, “Oh yeah, I’m gonna kick this days ass”. So grateful to have all she’s left us with. Dolly Forever. <3

I love Cookie, I look up to her in many many ways. I love reading her writting. It makes me feel seen, and I LOL out loud constantly while I read her. An angel who got taken away way too soon. Grateful I can just keep reading her books as many times I want to. RIP Cookie, I love ya girl.
